When the built-in GPS in their car failed, Max found themself in a small town near a forest. They took a walk in the forest, and ended up getting kidnapped by a few strange people. The next thing they knew, they were being held captive. They could leave the beautiful mansion that they were staying in, but they weren't allowed to get past the outside gates.

They quickly found out that the people there weren't quite right. Many of them lived in little wooden cabins. They had odd beliefs, and they all worshipped their Queen. . .

Sigivald spends much of xer time cooking in the kitchens in the mansion. The Queen is fond of xer cooking, and xe loves being appreciated for xer work. Xe also sings in the choir, which performs hymns for the Queen.

Xer father was from the Strangelands, the outside world. He was taken away by the Queen when Sigivald was a child. Maybe xer Strange ancestry is why xe's so interested in what else is out there. Xe dreams of becoming a scout and exploring the Strangelands.

Lucky for xer, a new Strangelander arrives in the Queendom. . .
